Anti Wrinkle Treatments

Injectable treatments at our Leamington Spa clinic have grown in popularity since introducing them with our aesthetic Doctor. These procedures include Anti-aging Injections, Dermal Fillers and Profhilo®. We also offer a number of dermal filler treatments to target your specific concerns. Injectables offer a near immediate result with very little downtime and risks. We take a holistic approach when assessing your suitability for treatment and do not work on a one size fits all basis. Depending on your concern, our Doctor will suggest the best treatment with the necessary amount of product.

Treatment Areas

We all have different concerns when it comes to our bodies. Each is individual and affects us in different ways. More fine lines & wrinkles, volume loss and having dark circles under the eyes are popular skin concerns. We also see patients who have complaints with individual facial features, like a crooked nose, weak jawline or jowls. Anti-aging injections are primarily used for treating wrinkles; however they also have other uses to restore confidence. Anti-aging Injections can be successfully used to treat other medical conditions like excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) or migraines. All injectable treatments including Dermal fillers, Anti-aging Injections and the award winning Profhilo® are available with our aesthetic Doctor at our Leamington Spa clinic.

Firstly, it is important to note that every individual is unique and has a different shaped face, goals and concerns. We fully take this on board when patients come to visit our clinic. We put together a bespoke aesthetic plan to ensure you get the best possible results. Depending on your treatment, your results will last between 3 and 18 months approximately. For best results, Anti-aging Injections should be injected every 4-6 months as the effects normally wear off after 3-6 months. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are more long lasting but are slightly different. They correct volume loss and can be used to alter the shape of facial features subtly. Profhilo’s® main ingredient is hyaluronic acid (HA), which helps in skin rejuvenation, hydration and elasticity. Results here are more long lasting too.

Patients considering an injectable procedure will first attend a medical consultation with our Doctor. We will take a full medical history and answer all of your questions relating to Anti-aging Injections, fillers or Profhilo®. During your appointment, we will put together your bespoke treatment plan. We believe in creating facial harmony and providing you with natural looking results. We will assess each area of your face and will sometimes suggest a combination of procedures, to further create an enhanced look for you. After treatment, you will receive all of the aftercare information needed to ensure the best results.

Anti-aging Injections / Anti-Wrinkle Muscle Relaxation Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections, or Anti-aging Injections use botulinum toxin that targets the muscles in our face that contract, in time causing wrinkles or fine lines to form. Repeated facial expressions cause the skin to weaken and fold. Anti-aging Injections blocks some chemical signals from the nerves, primarily those signals that cause muscle contractions. Anti-wrinkle Injections ensure a more youthful look, smoothing away wrinkles.

Patients only usually require one treatment to see effective and natural looking results. This process should be repeated every 4-6 months to ensure continued benefit. A range of concerns can be corrected with Anti-aging Injections. On the face they include treating wrinkles on the forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, a gummy smile (where too much gum is shown when one smiles), smoker’s lines and marionette lines (lines from mouth to chin). Anti-aging Injections is suitable for all skin types too. We only use the premium and original Anti-aging Injections by makers Allergan to carry out procedures. This ensures patient safety and optimum long lasting results.

Anti-aging Injections can also be used to treat some medical conditions, working in the same way. Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis underarms can be treated as well as migraines that affect the quality of a patient’s life.

CE Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers in Leamington Spa are used to treat a range of concerns on a variety of facial features. Fillers can restore a youthful appearance, correct volume loss and reverse the signs of ageing. Results are long lasting and most filler treatments come with immediate results. We only use the very best dermal fillers from premium brands that are certified.

The main ingredient in dermal fillers is Hyaluronic Acid (HA). This works to retain moisture levels in the skin, contributing toward a refreshed appearance. HA is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin which declines as we age, resulting in volume loss and wrinkles or folds. Fillers can be used as a great alternative to surgical procedures to correct imperfections with facial features too. Many opt for dermal fillers to softly reshape the jawline, chin or nose. Results last between 12 and 18 months, depending on the area and no downtime is required. A safe and very successful treatment, dermal fillers provide patients with natural looking results. Thinner dermal filler lasts for 6-12 months whereas thicker dermal filler lasts longer – 12-18 months or up to 36 months when used on the cheeks.

Lip fillers enhance lip definition and create a more defined smile. This treatment can be used for young patients but also for much older patients who suffer with smoker lines, being a quick fix.

Treating Marionette lines is one of our favourite procedures as it changes the expression of the entire face, giving you a happier, younger expression.

Non-surgical nose job/rhinoplasty: The non-surgical nose job uses dermal fillers to softly reshape the nose and is perfect for those who wish to avoid surgery. It is ideal for patients who are concerned with the size, profile and shape of their nose. Fillers can be used to add extra height, correct a bump on the bridge of the nose, correct mild to moderate drooping of nasal tip or correct noses that would like straightening. Please be aware that the non-surgical rhinoplasty is a very specialist procedure and should only be carried out by well-trained medics.

Nasolabial folds filler: Nasolabial folds are the lines that appear as we age on either side of the mouth. They extend from the edge of the nose to the corners of the mouth and can make an individual look angry or sad. Dermal fillers fill out these folds, leaving a youthful appearance and happier expression.

Tear trough fillers: Tear trough fillers work to correct volume loss and drooping under the eyes. Due to the natural ageing process, dark circles, bags and hollowing develops under the eye area. Jawline/Chin fillers: Non-surgical jaw augmentation, as with all of our dermal filler treatments is suitable for men and women. Jawline fillers can also be used to create a more masculine look. They are suitable for anybody wanting to improve the definition of their jaw or chin. Treatment is suitable for those with jowls. The main ingredient in Profhilo’s® unique blend is Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance. The treatment’s main advantage is its ability to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin to provide excellent skin rejuvenation benefits.

Profilo is more of a hydrator than filler – HA is hydrophilic, which means it draws and holds water from your body. The treatment offers the best results in two treatment sessions, four weeks apart. It involves minimal downtime and we’ll target 5 points on each side of your face. Unlike dermal fillers that offer instant results, Profhilo® will continue to provide you with improved results over the treatment course.

Profhilo® is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenate the neck, décolleté, arms, knees and hands.
